How to get smell of vomit out of carpet?

I’ve cleaned it up. I’ve washed it with dish soap and water. Twice. I’ve put a cleaner for pet odors on it (specifically for vomit and pee and stuff). I’ve sprayed vinegar+water on it. I’ve burned incense in the room. I’ve washed everything that was even remotely near the area. And it STILL completely reeks of vomit. I don’t know what to do. Maybe it’s all in my head at this point.
