Too big of a gap?

Does it seem weird for an 18 year old girl to be dating a 26 year old man? It's legal of course, but would it be looked at negatively?

A tad. He’s well into his adult years and the 18 yo barely starting. He likes younger woman for sure and would make me wonder why a woman his age hasn’t called his attention.

It's legal yes, but those two ages are usually in two different points in their life. Not saying it can't work, but it usually doesn't.

Its legal, yes, but might not be healthy. I'll be 25 in a month and i would never date a 19 year old, thats just a kid. You hear the "im just mature for my age" but what if thats not the case? What if the man youre dating likes you because he has a thing for high schoolers? Ive had family and friends who were in relationships like that and thought it was cute but looking back think its entirely creepy lol so i would just be very skeptical personally.

I was in a situation just like this when i was 18 and he was 26... the problem wasn’t him liking someone way younger then him! I was the one interested in him first I made the moves! So when my mom ruined my relationship with him! He ended things with me (mature move) I didn’t understand I was like why ?! He told me I love you but I can’t have you choose your mom over me! Everyone though it wasn’t a good idea because i was 18 and he was 26 they all though he was nasty for talking to someone who was just new to dating! Maybe that’s why he ended things to so no one would judge us! Idk but i feel like my chance was taken from me all over age! 
Your goin to do what makes you happy and if being with him makes you happy do it. Who cares what people think! Don’t let anyone get in between you guys! I wish I was brave at that time now I’m like nope you aren’t going to tell me who i can be with I’m grown 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

He has lived more than you, while this age gap may not be bad once you are older but for now I would try to live life and not have someone with experience get in the way. Interests may not be the same, he may want certain things sooner, his priorities will be different and depending on where you live, you may not even be able to enter the same establishments on a Friday night.
