Smoking/quitting while pregnant & side effects?!

Question

I’m recently finding out I’m pregnant (pictures attached) I’ll be 24 in January and I’ve been smoking nicotine since I was 17! I was wondering if in fact either of these substances, can alter the effectiveness of a pregnancy test! And the results ultimately? 
I know it can harm the baby I’m not exactly sure when I’m due or how far along but, I’m quitting and it’s not going to be easy but worth it!

I smoked for 12 years, and quit cold turkey the day I saw the positive test.

Never altered any of mine. And I would recommend slowing before you just stop cold turkey. I mean don’t take forever to slow and stop. But a sudden stop of anything the baby is already used to can have adverse effects. That came from my OB. At least that’s what she told me with the last a year ago. But as far as he tests go. Shouldn’t effect them. If you’re pregnant you’re pregnant. Congrats by the way.
