Getting a puppy!!

So my husband and I are getting a puppy. We have a daughter who’s almost two and we’re getting him for her birthday, so she won’t be so alone. And they’ll grow up together. To be honest I’m getting kind of nervous, I haven’t had a puppy since I was 16. I’m 23 now. I know it’s going to be to be like having another baby in the house. But idk what to expect from my daughter. Last time she saw a puppy (a tiny fluff ball) she wanted to strangle it with hugs. We’re getting a Belgian Malinios, which are like German shepherds (or so says my husband). An uncle of my husband is giving us the puppy.

What should I expect??

How can I help the pup and my daughter get along?

How do I Potty train ??? (Funny thing is I’m potty training my daughter too) lol
