Whose wrong? Me, or him?

My man and I are expecting our first child, my little brothers are also going to first time uncles- tonight sitting around the fire my man says to my brother(24) how he doesn’t feel that my brother is ready to be an uncle. Am I wrong to be upset with him for saying this to my brother in front of my parents? I personally feel the subject should be a private conversation between my man and I first or with a professional as my brother has not even had the chance to prove himself considering our baby isn’t due until October. Or am I overreacting?
