Has anyone tried IUI after varicocele surgery?

Male factor infertility, low count and low motility. Varicocele surgery 4 months ago (5 veins). We’re a bit impatient and ok to move to assisted fertility but not ready to jump straight into IVF. Any stories to share? Keen on trying natural IUI for first round - any tips?
