Thoughts?

Hey mamas!

I’m currently 9w1d with my second pregnancy. I went in for an ultrasound on Monday (8w5d) and baby was measuring a day ahead with a heart beat of 175.

I just got a call from my doctors office saying that she placed an order for an additional ultrasound at 14 weeks. I’m just wondering if this is normal? I only had 3 ultrasounds with my daughter (9w, 19w, and 34w).

I’m just nervous that they found something in the images of my ovaries or something.

I feel I may be freaking myself out, so maybe I’m just looking for some encouragement?

**UPDATE**

Central scheduling totally made an error. My OB put an order in for my anatomy scan (which is labeled as “>14 Weeks.” Apparently there was confusion on the scheduling office’s part because my doctor’s nurse was very confused - she thought I was requesting an additional ultrasound.

I’ve never felt so relieved! 🙌🏻👏🏻😅
