Ovulating?

Hello everyone. I have a little confusion going on. According to my glow calendar my peak ovulating day is tomorrow. I took an ovulating test and it says I'm any type of fertile right now. I'm having lower left cramps that I thought signify ovulating and also have a lot of cm (sorry tmi). My husband and I haven't been trying but also haven't been trying for about a year. I'm confused as to when I'm actually ovulating being I'm having the physical symptoms buy the test says I'm not. Any advice?
