My friend dipping out on me over ex bf ?

Goddamnit idk what category this goes to LOL so plz don’t get upset its not in the right category but..

OKAY..so my friend is letting me stay with her atm (she’s staying with her great grandpa) because my other friend who I am actually living with is on vaca with family and so for the time she’s gone I needed a place to stay..well this girl reached out and we have been extremely good friends over insta over similar hobbies and lifestyles.

She has just recently exited a very physical/mental abusive relationship months ago. He actually has done very horrible things to her, leaving her in the hospital homeless and with many injuries and bruises.

They haven’t spoken since. And then all of a sudden while I’m there, he just calls her up. After months of not speaking to her, after all the abuse.

At first she doesn’t answer and she’s like “what the fuck?!” because to be honest we were kinda talking shit on him.

But then, she starts to actually talk to him again. She says they never talk about the abuse because it’s uncomfortable and hard to think about..but they talk on the phone all day basically and trusting he’s changed.

Then out of nowhere she decides she wants to move back home with him..he’s apparently just driving 7 hours down and coming and getting her tomorrow.

Regardless of the fact that I’m still here staying with her????

And now I have to find a place to stay after thinking I was able to stay here.

I feel disrespected and betrayed because I would not just dip out on someone like that out of the blue..

like she can’t just wait another week maybe to move back in with him? That would give her more time to think anyways. And me more time to have somewhere to stay.

I know that no matter what I can make anything work and that I have some sort of option one way or another. But just AGH.

What the fuck? What would you do? Someone please help.
