Moms with daycare babes, what are you packing for solids these days?
My LO is about to go to a twice a week Mommy’s Day Out program so I can go back to work part time. I’m excited to pack his lunch for the first time but trying to figure out what to send!
He’s kind of picky and still gets mostly store bought puréed and mashed veggies, (hit doesn’t doesn’t do well with fruit and rejects veggies I cook and offer as finger food). He likes store bought finger foods and does well with bits of this and that off my plate.
He loves bits of bread and pasta. Can I just send that in a little container along with store bought stuff? Seems odd.
And if I send yogurt which he loves does I need to pack it with an ice pack or do they typically refrigerate stuff if asked?
What do you send other than store bought stuff??
