Do you let your little one under 2 watch tv?

Honestly sometimes it’s hard not to allow them to! It’s all around us! What is your opinion?

If a tv/movie is the only thing that keeps them or me from banging our head into the floor, yes lol

I have the tv on all day. Whether it's a movie or nursery rhymes , or toddler cartoons. He mostly just plays and runs around and ever so often he'll get interested on the tv and watch it for a little bit then go back to building blocks or something

I really don’t care if my kids watch tv. It’s always on in our house. If they are home and want to watch they can. Most of the time they ignore it and play with toys.

My 17 month old gets to watch if I put youtube cleaning inspiration on, loves it if they have kids. Might explain why he's always trying to run the dishwasher, has a meltdown if I have to take the duster away from him, and likes to throw things in the garbage🤣

There’s a way to find balance. They can watch it, but not 24/7. It’s a tv, not a babysitter.

I play dave and Ava on YouTube on our smart tv. He still runs around and plays but the nursery rhymes they sing help him learn about animals and colors 🤷🏼‍♀️

I stay at home with our son who is almost 20 months. Up until about 2 months ago he had no screen time what so ever...but I've learned that when I need to cook and don't want him clinging to me near a hot stove I'll pop on Word Party or Mickey Roadsters for 15min or so. Most days he doesn't watch TV though and he entertains himself just fine, but I have no problem at this point in time turning an "age appropriate" show on if I need him away from me for a few.
