IVF fresh or frozen sperm

So my husband and I will be doing our second round of IVF with ICSI next month in September. We are going to try and work around my natural cycle, as last time I took birth control but became too suppressed. Of course the likely dates of egg retrieval fall at a time when my husband will be out of town. He already has 1 vial of sperm frozen, but now my clinic is suggesting that maybe we postpone a month so that he will be there to give a fresh sample.

My question is has anyone had success using frozen sperm? I wouldn't think there would be that big of a difference, especially since we are doing ICSI. Thoughts?
