Family issues

Tell me if i am being rude or not.

My father in law called my husband to see what we are doing today and see if we wanted to get together. My husband told him we are putting the nursery together today. His dad asked if he could help and my husband said that he just wanted it to be me and him.

His dad proceeded to get upset asking if it was my idea, and telling him I’m “controlling” and that I’ve kept my pregnancy private from the rest of the family ( all because i don’t share every little detail or ultra sounds) 🙄

So i got upset that he acted that way. I called him after wards and told him if he has issues with me he needs to address them to me.

I told him no one needs to know every detail about my pregnancy but my husband and doctor.

He proceeded to tell me i was a bitch and selfish.

He told me he hopes his son divorces me and finds someone better.

🙄 this made me mad. Sorry i don’t think family needs to be included in everything. Is this a big deal or is he just a drama queen?

Update

I don’t share ultrasounds because they went behind my back multiple times and let uploading them to social media. I told them i wasn’t comfortable with that. Any updates o have they would turn around and post on Facebook. I felt that if i wasn’t posting those things no one else should :)
