Reproductive endocrinologist

Sheila
Well ladies I'm 33 I believe I have a terrible primary care physician because when I first visited him I told him I need to follow up with a ob gyn because I had previously had a episode where I bled vaginally for 19 days the emergency room wasn't too much help the referred me to get further treatment by an ob- gyn they never said if I was pregnant or not and I didn't wanna ask. The ob- gyn they (the hospital) referred me to deliver babies but she was never available for appointments so I ended up confused but hoping I was pregnant. I didn't have health insurance at the time then one day I did what I had to to receive medicaid now I have health insurance and I'm so happy at 33 years old finally. Now my biggest problem is that there are no infertility specialists in my network area and my primary care still haven't referred me to one he must think I don't want any kids. So after doing research through my health insurance I've found plenty of reproductive endocrinologist I have my fingers crossed because this will be my first time talking to someone who can run tests to check me out because the other doctors always say I'm fine and quit smoking, lose weight, exercise, eat healthy, take prenatal care and have sex. I'm like I need a thorough examination because I've been shot before and was left with an ugly scar on my stomach its so embarrassing I don't have a spleen, only half a pancreas, a my vertebrae was shattered when I was 16 years old so I hope these reproductive endocrinologists don't tell me I'm out their network area or I need a referral from my primary care doctor because he should have been did that. I just wanted to give some of you ladies some advice that having sex and not seeing a specialist could be the problem for women whose been TTC also I've heard depending on your state the doctor can do a ivf and if you don't get pregnant they'll refund your money. I've never had a few thousands to see, but I'm happy I now have health insurance and I can now see the right specialist to see if I really can or can't have children. Wish me luck😘
