To be entirely honest, it doesn't really matter. What matters is what your healthcare professional goes by and that's weeks. The months don't make a bit of a difference in pregnancy, which is funny bc that's all most of us ever heard while growing up.

But if you're desperate to go by the month, you're 5 months until you've completed the 6th month, then you're 6 months. Same as you do with weeks. If I'm 18 weeks and 1 day, I'm in my 19th week but I don't say I'm 19weeks until I've completed that entire week.

You are in your sixth month... As in 5 months and 1 day, 5 months and 1 week, etc. You are not "six months" until you complete your sixth month.

You don't count 4 weeks because not every month has exactly 4 weeks.
