Has anyone every taken an antibiotic while breastfeeding and have their baby NOT get thrush?
If so, how’d you prevent it? 
If not, how long after your treatment did thrush develop?
My 8 week old baby is exclusively breastfed and  I’m on an antibiotic. So terrified of thrush. My Doctor told me not to worry to much and said it’s more common in babies with suppressed immune systems, but don’t all babies have suppressed immune systems?!

I did two rounds of antibiotics with just a week in between because the first round didn't get rid of my infection, and we never got it! All before she was 6 weeks old. I used coconut oil on my nipples between feeds and used a really good probiotic 1 hour after each antibiotic pill.

My baby wasnt breastfed but she did get thrush. It took like 2-3 days to clear up completely with the thrush drops.

I had to take antibiotics 8 days after having my son due to an infected c section wound and my son was absolutely fine maybe it depends on the kind they give you because being breastfed they have to be careful which ones to give you
