Is it a false negative?

I missed my period last week...just one month off birth control. I have "swollen" lower stomach, sore breast, mood swings, frequently peeping, lower back pain. Etc all things point to pregnancy with my second. But I've taken 3 tests and all negative over the past week. Maybe impatient!? Maybe my body adjusting to being off the pill?
