Everyone should hold doors open. I'm so tired of doors slamming in my face because people have no manners in 2018.

My husband held a door open for a girl not too long ago at the gym. (He holds the door open for everyone). She got so mad at him and acted like what he did was sexist... I think that is so stupid. It’s a kind mannerly thing to do that everyone should do for each other no matter the gender of the person.

People are offended by the stupidest things today. They get offended if he lets the door slam in their face, they get offended if he holds the door open. 
How about just being appreciative of someone doing something nice?

I don’t get offended but I get stressed if I’m not right there already, like I don’t want to start jogging and hurry up so this nice person can get where they’re going. That said, I still open doors for people.

Currently I’m in wv and nearly everyone up here is an asshole. No one just smiles at you if you happen to make eye contact in a store or holds open doors or waves at you if you happen to look at each other while passing by driving down the street. Back in my home state Texas in my town if you’re going down just about any street besides the main highway going through town almost every person you pass is gonna wave and people are just so nicer in general back in Texas.

I feel anyone should hold doors open. It’s just common courtesy
Unfortunately, so many people today have no manners or courtesy and they just let the door slam behind them even if they see a person coming. Smh 🤦‍♀️
