Extreme Swelling in Feet

Tammy

I'm currently 34+5. On Saturday at work my feet were really hurting so I took an extra little break to sit down. I slipped off my shoes only to notice how badly my feet were swollen. My store has a pharmacy, so I had them check my blood pressure. It was a bit high for me, so I called my doctor. He said to go into L&D so they could do blood work and make sure it was preeclampsia. After a couple hours my blood pressure was back to normal and all my labs came back fine. It was determined that I had just overdone it at work.

I got home and kept my feet propped up for the rest of the evening. I was off yesterday and my fiancé and I went to see his grandparents. They live about 15 minutes from us. My feet were almost back to normal when I woke up. By the time we got to their house my feet were completely swollen back up. I spent the rest of the day with my feet propped up or soaking in Epsom salt. I drank of ton of water and avoided salty foods.

This morning I had a hard time getting my shoes on for work as my feet were still a bit swollen. I got half way to work (work is about 15 minutes away) and my feet hurt so badly that I was nearly in tears. I took my shoes off and asked my fiancé to just take me home. (He was driving because he left his truck at my work when we went to L&D).

I know it's not preeclampsia, but I'm really worried that it's been this swollen for 3 days and that I can barely walk from the pain. I was going to call the doctor, but feel like I might be overreacting. This is my 4th pregnancy, but this has never happened.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

They've looked like this for 3 days now, except that my toes are also swollen since I'm not wearing shoes.
