My husband's pelvis??

For months now my husband has had a sore almost like a boil on his pubic mound. He gets them from time to time in his armpits, the same place on his pubic mound, and had one on his back so bad several years ago theres a horrible scar and was told by a doctor then it was staff infection. But the one downstairs just wont heal up. Its not causing him much pain and we are currently not insured due to lay offs at hus company. Any idea what tf this could ve? And no he does not have any stds.
