Late period and the common cold

My period is now 21 days late and I didn't get sick (just a common cold) until 2 days ago. My boobs have been sore since before my period was due and it makes me think my period will come any day now, buy it just hasn't. Now that Im sick I know it's going to delay my period longer. Anyone that has something like this happen, how long after you were done being sick did you get your period?
