So we're hopefully closing on a house at the end of August and babygirl is due September 18 and this will be our first baby. Well a close friend needs to find somewhere else to live and has asked to move in with us for a while. She offered to dog sit and baby sit while we're at work free of charge which would be great since our dog is used to my hubbys grandma home all day with him and we wouldnt have to worry about a stranger watching our baby or have to worry about childcare costs. The dilemma though is that the house is 2 bedrooms. Ours and our baby's. The only place my friend would be able to stay is either a creepy basement or an attic with stairs which i was planning on making my art room until we had another kid later in the future. This is our first child too and i feel like we would need to have our own time to get used to having our baby home without anyone else being there for long periods of time and shes planning on 2 months (after closing through my 6 weeks of maternity leave) plus however long after it takes her to get her own place (assuming since she plans on babysitting too). I woukd feel bad sating no since she is a long time close friend with no where else to go. I havent brought it up with hubby yet but what would you do?
