Anyone else starting icsi soon?

Question

I am currently waiting for my period to come, due any day now, so I can start stims. This is my second round after a failed attempt in May 2017. My partner has a low count but the ones he has are good. I have a son by my previous husband who is nearly 7 now. 
I got 10 eggs last round, 9 fertilised but was only left with 1 hatching blast and a not so good one. Was advised to only put the best one in and discard the other (one of my regrets). Any buddies would be welcomed. Xxx

Don’t regret that! If it wasn’t good quality it wouldn’t have taken or probably would have resulted in an devastating loss. You have nothing to regret. In Ontario any embryo CC or lower is destroyed. Some US clinics will still throw it in with another embryo but there is no evidence suggesting that that results in a positive outcome. Let that awful feeling go, you did exactly what you were advised to do by a medical professional who knew what they were talking about. Er ready for round two, girl! Positive thoughts only and sending you lots of well wishes!!!

I’m waiting for my period (should start in about a week) then will be starting IVF with PGS (they do icsi for that too). This is my first time going through all this. Super nervous but excited. I’ve had two miscarriages and no living children. All our tests are good but doctor said doing PGS will reduce risk of another miscarriage. 🤞🏼 good luck to you!
