Persistently faint lines???

I have had persistently faint lines since first testing over a week ago. I am now 17 dpo, I believe, since my dates are slightly messed up due to a chemical in June. For a while, the lines this month were getting very very marginally darker, but certainly nothing I would consider calling a BFP. Two days ago, I began cramping. Today, the cramping has stopped. It's still so early, but I would have expected darker lines by now if things were good.

So has anyone had a long series of faint lines and continued with a healthy pregnancy? I will see my doctor next week. Waiting to see if this is yet another chemical.
