Cervix position?

Just started to feel for the position in my cervix. It's low. Feels closed to me. And when I TMI take my finger out. It's wet. But not like creamy or watery. What does a low closed cervix mean? I've had a couple people tell me I may be pregnant but I'm waiting a few days to test. Is this a sign? Thanks ladies for any advice!
