Car seat and stroller?!?

What do you ladies think is the safest brand on car seats and strollers? Would it be smarter to get an infant car seat or a converter car seat? 1st time mommy here 😊

I read to avoid convertible car seats until age 1. I got a Chicco key fit 30 car seat and stroller and can't wait to use it ☺️

We love Maxi Cosi. It's a great European brand. When we first looked at them they to Europe they are like how Britax is here.

My daughter hated being swaddled and screamed and fought to get out of and to not go back into a britax but loved sitting in the Maxi Cosi.

Britax car seat!!! Definitely safest from our research.  We registered for the city mini gt stroller . With a conversion connection the 2 fit together.  The stroller is amazing it's a jogging stroller and most strollers are so heavy anymore.  My mom is 72 and can lift it with one hand.  Best part is where most strollers it push this button twist ,squeeze this clamp push etc. It's seriously as easy as pull the handle in the center of the seat and it's folded flat in 1 second.   It's also very well built all reviews I found they are all great reviews across the board!!

I'll be getting an infant seat that clips into a stroller in addition to another car seat for when baby is bigger. I'm leaning towards uppababy or nuna. But I hear britax is great. It's just a bit too bulky for my car.

Recaro. The only down side is that they have conversions to nothing. My husband is adamant about the Recaro brand, but I'm a runner and want a B.O.B. stroller. You can't use the 2 together. Recaro has a multipurpose stroller that gets great reviews, but I do a lot of trail running and need something better equipped for the routes I use. We are comprimising (we ARE talking about my kids' safety here), but that's the only down side I see to the brand.

I have a britax infant car seat for my daughter. I LOVE IT! I will be getting the same brand for my next two that are due in January. I also have a B.O.B. Jogging stroller. As for convertible car seats I want the graco 4 ever one. It has good reviews and it supposed to be the only car seat you will need but I would always start with the infant car seat
