Marginal cord insertion
I was told that the baby's umbilical cord attached to the side of the placenta, not the center. This affects about 1-2% of pregnancies and the ultrasound technician said usually there's nothing to worry about, but sometimes the baby doesn't get enough nutrients. They have me coming back for a follow up ultrasound at 32 weeks, but I'm nervous! I have my regular appt with my midwife on Thursday so I'll be able to discuss it with her then. Anyone else diagnosed with this? I'm nervous for my baby!
