On anon because I know people on here. Today i went to get Medicaid and food stamps because I am just struggling hard, well I walked into the office and the woman said “so why are you even applying?” I explained to her why and she said “well where did you get the money to get that purse or that phone?” I said well this is from a while ago. She told me to “stop trying to cheat the system” I feel horrible I go days without eating because I need my little boy to eat. I feel like I should file a complaint or something.

Just to update you guys I went back up there, filed a complaint and I did qualify. I am relieved that my boy and I can finally eat something other than fruit cocktail cans of fruit. Also my bag is from Walmart lol and my phone is an old iPhone 4, I guess she thought I was actually cheating the system. It’s alright though the only important thing is we get to eat.
