The implant ruined my life

Ladies, the implant (nexplanon) literally ruined my life. I got it last December and had it taken out yesterday. Since the first day I got it in I’ve been bleeding(not spotting) BLEEDING everyday. I became severely anemic which effected my performance in school and my sport. After school I would come home and sleep till the next morning. I’d sleep in class, which brought my average down, I lost the will to do anything, I basically gave up. It controlled my life, I was paranoid every second of the day because I was scared to bleed through everything. I was scared to talk to boys and even someone I had a thing with because I didn’t want to bleed during sex.

Also: I never wanted nexplanon my mom forced me to get it. I had to watch as they put a machine into my arm and lifted up the skin. Every time I felt the implant in my arm I threw up. Don’t get it if you’re not ready.
