Does anyone want a baby, but not ready... And finding it difficult?

My husband and I are ready for kids in all ways except for financially... It makes it really hard to be avoiding pregnancy when we want a kid so bad.. But we figure that a baby deserves a more comfortable lifestyle (plus it would be much easier for us as well), so we're waiting. Anyone else wanting a child and waiting for legitimate reasons, but having a hard time being patient and wanting a baby terribly?

I agree with Andi, there's always going to be "we could be making more, we could have this or that" finances are a moving target. What a child needs most is love, of you have enough to provide their NEEDS then you have enough money for a child.

Same here. I'm getting married this October and we both would love to start TTC as soon as we get married but our finances won't allow it.

Yesssss 😭 I'm 22 and my husband will be 26 in a few months and we have been together 4.5 years. We are dying to start our family but he has so much student loan debt and I'm still in school (bachelors I receive this December and Masters I start next Spring). Plus he doesn't have a great paying job quite yet. He's had several interviews and they don't pan out so we are bummed temporarily. I just want it to be my time already ☹️ I feel your pain!!

I was going through the same thing for years but my problem was that I'm too young (19) I am currently planning my wedding and it's really the only thing that's ever been able to put a pause on me being so clucky. I hope everything works out for yous xx

We are financially stable, but my husband wants a baby but he's active duty military and I'm terrified to raise a child by myself and want to wait until he's out of the military so we can share the beauty of it

We would love to have a baby---but school and finances are making us wait. We saved by living in a small apartment the last two years and out lease isn't up until June- no room for baby here, plus my husband graduates from graduate school and our income will double in June. (He already has a job lined up). Thankfully...we've decided to officially go off birth control in December. But its been a long year of waiting...
