so a friend asked me a few months ago if she could throw me a baby shower. it would be very small, basically potluck at someones home.

I said sure. I haven't heard anything about it since and I'm 5 weeks away. and I kno it wont happen until another friend comes back from a trip, which will be in a week. I have no idea what date it will be. nothing. I really dont want it anymore bc I'm feeling alot of strain in general. im not one to be in the spotlight. I doubt they bought anything yet. maybe just discussed what to do.

I already said about a month ago that we dont need to do it (bc I hadn't heard anything abt it and thought maybe they were struggling) and they said they really want to do it.

its causing me stress thinking about it. dont want to do it at all. should I ask them to cancel if they haven't bought anything? or just go w it.
