No because i believe natural oxytocin is important for bonding and early breastfeeding. Its so hard to go natural. It hurts more than words describe. But my labors only being 4-8 hours i can do it lol. Even though at the time i wanna die in pain. Its a tough route but its so rewarding 😊

I’m not opposed to epidurals I’m just plain terrified of having one!! The idea of a needle going directly into my spine is enough to scare the crap out of me!! I birthed naturally with gas for my first and when I was offered an epidural I just couldn’t do it!! This labour will be no different I’m getting nightmares just thinking about it!!!

I REALLY want to try without for the benefits of getting a better start at breastfeeding but I’m on the fence. I have a feeling this is going to be a big boy, and if so, I’m not sure I can do it without an epidural!

Im gonna see how it goes! Had one with my first but was induced and had 33hrs of intense labor . Hoping to go naturally this time and just see how i feel and how long labor goes.

my first pregnancy labor only lasted 2hours by the time i got to hospital i pretty much gave birth straight away no time for epidural only had a bit of gas cause i was freaking out. they came at 29weeks but in saying that im not sure for this time round i liked the fact that I was able to walk around straight away
