Seattle Earthquake?!

I live in the Seattle area and am hearing horror stories of the next earthquake that could cause much destruction... Any thoughts or anyone else feel the same way I do about this?! Freaking out a little... My friend from Alaska texted me today saying they had a 6.5 earthquake that last 30 seconds... 😁😣

I can't imagine how scared you guys must be when this happens.  I thank God that we don't have stuff like earthquakes and tornados hapening here and I pray that it never will! !! You are all in my prayers

Also here in western WA. Federal Way. I've been hearing about it, especially since that seismologist was on the news talking about "the next big one ". Idk what to think of it.

I'm not sure what is worse, Seattle earthquake or Yellowstone errupting. However if earthquake happens it could cause the erruption and then we're all screwed!!! Times of change!!! I'm not prepared!

It is not the size of the quake. I live in a quake ridden town and our 7.2 quake didn't take any lives or cause much damage compared our magnitude 6. Natural disasters happen everywhere and if it's not an earthquake then it's something else. Don't sweat it.

I've been in a 7.2 earthquake tht lasted a good while.... It was Managua Nicaragua. Just if an earthquake comes crawl under something. A desk. Or table. Something sturdy. Ride it out. We had around 5-7 earthquakes while I was there. And the damage was minimum.

I heard a news report about the quake being passed due. It actually has me scared shitless and I live in Michigan.
