Many nb have at least slight jaundice and need a little bit of sunlight here and there. It should only be very short periods though as their fresh skin will broil fast. If you are talking about just going outside in general while its sunny make sure baby is covered in light breathable clothes and preferably shaded

I bought a little sun hat off of Amazon. I take my son with me when I feed the chickens, take out the trash, or just walk around the gardens. We stay out of direct sunlight as often as we can but sometimes it's unavoidable for a few minutes.

Morning sun is great for babies. (All of us to that matter.) once the sun starts giving off too much heat (12 pm and so on) then I would take the baby out of the sun.

We go out when it’s sunny, we avoid direct sunlight when possible, baby bucket hats are amazing, if the sun is really scorching we use sunblock SPF 50 and at the beach we used those sun block shirts. Baby should be good, babies need vitamin D which the sun helps to make so it’s all good just be safe and the caution they have sensitive skin and eyes and you don’t want a sunburned baby.

Mine is almost 2w old and we go outside to drop off/pick up his big sis from the bus stop. I always make sure he isnt in direct sun and doesn't get too hot
