Ancestry.com for names?

We did this for my sister because she wanted a different but family name...I think I’m going to do this also. Sounds crazy but I just thought it was a neat thing to do!

That’s how all 3 of my babies names were chosen! My son Erixon, was named after my great grandmothers maiden name. My daughter Saylor, was named after my husbands great great grandmothers maiden name. I’m pregnant with a Sutton, a surname I found on my side from the 1500’s in England 🤗

That’s the best way to find uncommon names that are actually real names. I love looking at family surnames and first names from ancestry. Pearl, Ramsay, and Harlow are all family names for me. Pearl is a family surname which I think makes it even cooler if I use it!

We definitely looked! Found some real gems too. I have a relative named Absalom Fortenberry and another named Alexander Crocket. 😂
