At 38 weeks and 2 days my water broke at 5:30 pm on the 28th and at 2:49 am on the 29th our little Rose came into this world!
I did have to get an epidural, I was exhausted from dealing with sporadic contractions that weren't making me have any progress so I couldn't breathe properly. They were going to give me pitocin but the epidural helped more instead. I felt everything so there's that haha it just helped with the contractions, other than that I didn't tear at all! So happy about that! I maybe pushed for 30 minutes too 🙌🏽
She's 5 lbs and 11oz, 18 inches long and simply perfect. She's been latching on perfectly and although she hated her bath she's been sleeping wonderfully against my chest.
I am just overjoyed! 😊💕🌸
