Cat help!!!

So I had a kitten walk up to house and he was bout 5 weeks old. That's been a little over two months ago. And he's mean! We can't walk in where with out him getting our feet or hands or anything! Now my husband brought home a female kitten and she is around 7 weeks old. He's a lot being than her and he is not mean to her he just plays too rough! And he want stop chasing her and jumping on her! Anyone know what I can do to calm him down with her or is this just a phase? I don't want him to hurt her!
