When did your baby have the first haircut?

Hi! I want to give my baby her first haircut so I want to know when it's okay to do it? I just want to cut her bangs because she can't see sometimes because her hair got kinda long so I have to tie her hair all the time but I'm scared like what if the hairstylist does something wrong or cuts her lol stupid, I know.

I dont know if it’s considered a real haircut but my daughter was growing a full on mohawk and everyone called her a boy so i trimmed it up hoping itd help 😂

I cut my sons hair @ 10 months because it was crazy!! Lol ..that being said I was also a hairdresser, so I just cut it myself

My son had beautiful long hair so he didn’t get a haircut until he was almost 3... and even then I didn’t want it. His grandma did it without asking me

We did our sons the week before his 1st birthday because it is super fine and straight... it stuck up in all directions like a chia pet. It finally lets flat now😂

My daughter got bangs and a hair trim at a year old. She was born with brown hair that turned bleach blonde with age and it just looked strange. Since then we've kept the bangs and trim them bi-monthly. We plan to get her hair trimmed and layered the next time we go in (shes 2 now). Her hair is wavy and it's darling, but we live in Florida and that kid has some thick hair!

My kiddo is going to be 18 months tomorrow and has had at least 3 haircuts, because it grows like crazy and gets in his eyes, ears, down his collar, but when you try to brush it out of his eyes he shakes it right back in, so🤷🏼‍♀️

I haven’t cut my 2 year olds hair yet, but that’s because it’s still super short. 🤷🏻‍♀️
If you feel like she’d benefit from a hair cut (and can sit still long enough to get it trimmed really fast 😂) then go for it!

My daughter is 2.5 yrs and we still haven't covered it. She has the most beautiful spiral curls at the end of her hair and we can't bare to cut them.
