Silly question

My husband and I have been in Portland since March and I am having a really hard time meeting people. I'm a stay at home mom and would like to meet other moms but have no idea where to start.   It would be nice to be able to go on a walk or have a cup of coffee with someone and have an adult conversation every once in a while. Do any of you lovely ladies have suggestions on where to meet people?
