Who do you want in labor with you?

I think that I would not like anyone I know to be in the room with me when I'm in labor. Where I am from, the father is not allowed in the room and does not get to see the baby come out of your vagina, which I am fine with, but I am sure my mother will want to be in the room or my sister, but honestly they are not in the room when I poop or pee, and I am not comfortable showing them my private parts, so why should that change now 🤔 I'm a FTM, so I don't know how labor actually is, and I might change my mind later.. But what do you ladies think about this?

Only person I wanted in the room with me was my husband. I couldn’t imagine having todo it without him by my side.

Where do you live that the father isn’t allowed in?

My mom and boyfriend will be in the room with me. I think you’ll want support during labor so it’ll be nice to have someone familiar with you. They don’t have to look if you’re not comfortable.

I only wanted my husband.  Not because he is the Daddy necessarily, but because he is my rock.  
 
So I would say if ANYONE, someone who can calm you.  Or a Doula?

I only want my husband to be there. I do have a sil that has  no boundaries and wants to be there for labor  and delivery  and im not comfortable with  that so we will not be telling anyone we are going to the hospital.

Id hv a support person hun. But thats just me. Trust me when your in labor ALL logic goes out the door!!! You will do what you have to to get that baby out!! You may even go completely naked and nt give a damn!! I cant believe I stripped. Im like nah, gt it off! 😳😂 then hopped into the birthing pool lol. You dont notice anyone there really or anyone looking at ya bits bcz u go into yourself to find the courage and strength to do the most beautiful thing a woman can do. Its very empowering and emotional moment.
