Pregnancy Carpal Tunnel?! 😱

This is no freaking joke. I was up all night with stabbing pains in my left arm, wrist, and fingers. No matter what position I was in - full on painful dead arm. Anybody else going through this? How can I get some relief?

Get overnight splints. They help a ton. Basically any wrist brace that keeps your wrist in a neutral position, doesn’t have to be the big crazy overnight ones. I had carpal tunnel for 8 years before I got surgery to fix it, I’m so glad I got that before getting pregnant. I wore wrists braces every night for those 8 years, couldn’t sleep without them!

I have this currently, brought on by the pregnancy apparently. Last night was the first night I’ve slept through the night without excruciating pain in my hands. I got carpel tunnel braces for both wrists, so relieved I was able to sleep without the pain last night!

Oh man, I’m right there with you. Mine is mainly my right wrist/hand. The tingly fingers drive me insane which is most I feel. Sometimes numb, sometimes pain.

I had it with my first and it was horrible. I had to wear braces all night and much of the day. I asked my chiropractor some stretches for this time just in case and they feel nice. It went away immediately after I gave birth.
