Should lottery/gambling winnings be tax free?
My husband is a big gambler. Lately sports betting but he is a professional poker player. And when I say professional he has completely funded our life through gambling.
We are Canadian.
Yesterday my husband won over $50k betting on tennis. That money is completely tax free. Last year he reported a very healthy yearly income which he earned almost entirely through gambling.
Do you think lottery and gambling winnings should be tax free?
