GI Bill ending sooner than we thought
Need advice! Some background first...
My husband is national guard reserves, was active for 8 years, now he is going to college. He started in 2016. We figured that with the GI Bill he can go to school and we get money to live on, and that with him doing summer classes that he would graduate on time or sooner. This has all been working out fine. The GI Bill pays enough, and covers his schooling.
I got pregnant in 2016 and I only have my associates completed. Now baby boy is over a year old and I've been a stay at home mom.
We just realized that between my husband needing to retake one class, and the fact he probably wasted his first semester with random classes, and that his major requires so many credits (way over 120) 😒 that the GI Bill paying for the school and us will end as of next august 2019 or sooner. 😬😟 he probably won't be able to graduate until end of 2020 maybe even 2021 now looking at all the classes he needs 🙃
We live in Colorado and child care isn't cheap. I'm trying to figure out what I can do and so is he. Need advice!! Wish I had a career but we have just been waiting and planning on him.
