Birth control??

Question

So,  i need others opinions on what kind to get.  Ive done research of my own and i know they all affect people differently.  But i just wanna know what yall think is the best  choice. Im going for my first gyno visit october 4th and im supposed to get on it then. Can yall leave a comment of why you like a certain one better. Thanks in advance. Btw, its to prevent pregnancy but also to help my periods.

Do not get depo what so ever i know many people and including my self not only have a bad mentally reaction but it not the best option on your body

You should discuss with your gyno of course, but the good thing about the pill is that if you don’t like how it’s affecting you, you can find another one that works. The more specific you are with your gyno about your expectations and specific issues (Do you have heavy periods? Irregular periods? Acne?) the better your chances at getting a good fit. The setback is, of course, that you have to take the pill at roughly the same time every day. It can also cause depressive symptoms, so be sure to mention any mood issues (your gyno can prescribe a lower dose pill if that’s the case). 
One thing I learned from years on the pill is that they can be monophonic or triphasic. The monophasic are great because you can take two packs back-to-back and skip your period (like if you’re going on vacation). Before monophasic pills, I spent every vacation frequenting disgusting foreign bathrooms. No more!

I’ve personally been on the shot for 6 months and have not had any problems except for the first day. The night I got it, I started crying for absolutely no reason and it was honestly just funny! Damn hormones. I still have a period, but it’s lighter and the cramps aren’t as bad. It’s different for everyone though!
