I’m 17 dating an 18 year old. We’ve been together a year and I’m very in love & happy w him.

I don’t know y but sometimes he talks to me like I’m stupid. Like if i dont know something then he literally talks to me like I’m dumb af. He always makes jokes calling me retarded or dumb jokes about me. Of course Ik he’s kidding but I don’t appreciate the way he talks to me sometimes. I spent the weekend w him and his family and he even talked to me like I was an idiot infront of them. Other then that I’m very happy w my relationship and I’d hate to break up. Advice?
