Is my weight affecting my chances to get pregnant?

I am 5’3 and I weigh about 145 lbs

I didn’t think much about my weight until recently when I was going through old clothes and clothes that were given to me that would have fit if I was maybe an inch smaller

I’ve had a stranger also make comments about my weight as well

I don’t feel like I’m “fat” but I know statistically I am overweight

I have heard of women loosing ten pounds and then seem to get pregnant right away

Do you think that if I were to work on loosing weight that it would help me get pregnant, or that my weight is stopping me from having a baby
