Long-Distance: am I really ok with this?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over a month now. He is in the Marine Corps stationed in North Carolina about 4.5 hours away from where I go to college. He has a pretty regular schedule and I see him for a weekend about every three weeks.
Here’s my problem: by the end of the weekend, I am craving personal space.
Is it because I’m a little introverted and tend to be a very independent person, so sharing all my time and very small dorm room with him bothers me?
Is our cupcake phase finally over and maybe I’m not as in love with him as I thought because he gets on my nerves by the end of the weekend?
Am I just not ready for a relationship right now because I still need time on my own and that’s why spending soooo much time with him in such close quarters bothers me?
I truly feel I’m in love and it might just be the distance making things weird for me but I’d appreciate a second opinion.
