Does being small/ petite affect pregnancy?

I am 5ft tall and weight 90 pounds. This is my first pregnancy and I am almost 5 weeks pregnant. I am 30 years old. I have been small all my life. The whole pregnancy is so new to me. I am concerned and worried that  being so small might result in difficult pregnancy. I know every pregnancy is different. I was wondering if anybody out there  had  similar experiences. I was 92 lbs and 4'11" with my first and had an easy pregnancy, worked up until 9 months and had a natural delivery. With my 2nd, I was 105, and same, easy pregnancy, i played basketball in early labor and had a home water birth in 3 hours. our bodies are so made for this, regardless of size.

My mom is 5’2” and when she gave birth to me I was 8 lbs 13 oz. She was always under 110 pounds. She birthed me (and both of my sisters prior) without medication and no complications during pregnancy or the birth. No worries!

Nope.  I was 95lbs 5'2 when i got pregnant with my son (could never gain weeight!) And i had a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby boy! And when i lost the baby weight, i never went below 100 so that was a good thing for me! Im now pregnant with my 2nd.  Dont worry about it!

I am 5’1” and was 95 my first pregnancy. I was fine and delivered a healthy 8.2 lb baby boy. I will say this, take care of your knees. Wear decent shoes. The sudden weight gain caused some pain in my knees. I also had a huge flight of stairs I had to climb several times a day, which didn’t help.
