Paint for babies?

I know this is probably a stupid question..is there any kind of paint that is safe for babies to finger paint? Specifically 9-10 months old. Thanks!

I bought tempura paint .. plant based and washes off easily!

10mos might be too young for finger painting, depending on how much hand-in-mouth time they do. There are non-toxic paints for kids, just make sure it says water based or washable, nothing acrylic or latex.
