my daughter got sick, I took her to her drs and she said that she just has a cold and she can’t prescribe her anything bc she’s too little. She sounds bad, did any of your babies get sick if so for how long ? And what did you guys do to ? Please help:(

If she’s to little for medicine not much you can do just let it take it’s coarse. If she’s coughing and congested turn on your shower and get your bathroom steamy and sit with her in the steam (not the shower) just in the bathroom it’ll help her chest.. and try the nose sucky thing the frida one it’s a long tube .. works wonders . Good luck I know it’s hard I have 6 kids and I still get hopeless when they are under the weather

My daughter who is now over a year, had a horrible cold aroundChristmas when she was 8 months. She would cry from being congested but no sound came out because her throat hurt so bad. She was sick for almost two weeks. I had to sleep with her on my chest and basically upright, had a cool mist humidifier running all night with Vick’s medicine in it, I put baby Vick’s on her feet and put socks on, used the nose sucker ( which she hated, so I was never very successful) and Hylands medicine brand has a congestion one that if I kept up with it every 4 hrs except at night she would do okay because it would help loosen all the mucous. I sat and cried with her daily because I know how miserable she was but nothing was working as well as if she could have real medicine.

I got hay fever when I was like 13 weeks old? They tried baby Benadryl, turns out I’m allergic, I was sick for almost 6 months but I turned out just fine, except the Benadryl allergy, that sucks ass. Babies are surprisingly resilient.
